I keep on intending to list some of the things Jack's been saying. He's quite a jabber mouth and loves to babble on and on in some dialect of what we hope is English. Here are some of the words/phrases we've deciphered and he uses quite frequently:
- "aught" (Hot)
-"oh no"
-"all done"
-"EEZE EEZE EEZE" (please please please!) He reserves this for times when he really truly means it.
-"ight" (light) Jack loves lights. His new fixation is pointing to lights excitedly whenever he walks into a room or gets into the van.
- "I know" - He can be a little sassy know it all. But it's pretty funny.
- "cah" - He likes to caw whenever he sees a bird. But he also likes to play with his toy "cahs".
He says a lot more. But he's having a meltdown right now. So I need to go. Bye! (He says that too.)
Patrick is usually quite content to play on the floor with his toys and watch Jack. He's starting to get up on his hands and knees and rock a bit. He's also getting better at sitting on his own. I'd be pretty content if he did more sitting and not so much trying to crawl.
Here Jack is playing around with a piece of raw onion that I gave him. Jack loves raw red onions. I was making dinner and he kept coming up to me saying "union union." Then he'd bite into it and make a face and say "picy" (spicy.)
The best part of summer is not having to wear clothes!
