Playtime

I have even more pictures that I think that you Grandparents and Aunties would enjoy ... but Blogspot was giving me difficulties. I'll try to get more funny-face pics of Jack up soon. Until then, enjoy ....

Farmer John

Oh yes, and for those of you who are interested in the personal details of this farmer's life:
At his 4 month appointment, Jack weighed 14 lbs 12 oz (50%) & measured 25 3/4" (75%).
And no, he's not available.

Jack's week

It's been a busy week for Jack. He's so busy discovering stuff and learning new things. He really enjoys eating. Especially when I give him the spoon.
Of course, by the time it makes it to his mouth, there is no food left on it.

Here I was trying to get a picture of Jack sitting. But he kept on toppling over as soon as the flash would finally go off. So I put pillows behind him so I wouldn't have to worry about him bonking his head.

4 Months Old

We tried to explain to Jack that you're supposed to talk into the bottom part. He insisted that the top part tastes better.

Looking at himself in the mirror.

"Yes, I know I'm photogenic."

Some more phone pictures...

Oh yes, Jack has also figured out how to pick up his pacifier and put it into his mouth. It's really fun to watch. He looks all smug and proud when we clap and say "yay".

Escape Plan

Jack has been trying to escape his bouncy chair. He enjoys the challenge. But he can never quite go free because his butt gets stuck. It's really funny to watch him kick his legs in the air.

Dinner Time

Jack is going on 4 months old. So I thought it would be fun to compare a picture of him in his bouncy seat that I took today to one that I took when he was just 2 days old. I think he's been eating well.

Speaking of eating well... Jack has added bananas, homemade applesauce and rice cereal to his diet. Not that he really needed the extra calories. He got all excited (saying "ahahahahah" and flap his arms) when I would bring the spoon to his mouth. He even tried to grab onto it. But then after I put the white runny paste into his mouth he made a funny face and spit out a lot of it. Then he'd get excited again as I'd bring the spoon once again up to his mouth. And then once again make a funny face when I put the cereal in. Maybe he kept on hoping I'd give him a spoonful of applesauce.

The world tastes good

Jack is sitting on my lap as I type this. He was kinda whiny until I starting putting up pictures. Whenever he'd see a picture of himself he stopped fussing and started babbling. As I've mentioned before - vain kid.
Ooh, last night Jack slept 12 1/2 hours nonstop. Didn't even wake for a paci!
