Sometimes I just don't feel like coming up with a creative title. Especially when there is a monkey on my shoulders.

Both Isaiah and Patrick had checkups yesterday. It was a traumatic morning and Patrick is still dramatically limping around from his MMR shot. Patrick weighed in at aprox 27 lbs and Isaiah is almost 20 lbs. People always comment how sturdy and big Patrick looks but I think it's just his pudgy baby face. He's kinda shrimpy and only in the 30th and 40th percentile for height and weight. Isaiah actually is big. Definitely the sturdiest of the boys. He's somewhere in the 80th percentile for height and weight.

Jack found this slug (he calls it a squid) when he was playing outside this morning. He was about 4 inches long and so disgusting I had to take a picture.

Did you notice how there is no snow in any of these pictures?!

Shaving

Aunt Emily gave the boys a toy shaving kit for Christmas. It was a huge hit and the boys love bath time more than ever.

Now their cheeks are silky smooth.

He doesn't need to shave yet.

Snowy Days of Christmas Break

It snowed ... again.... and again...

But it sure is pretty. This is the view we wake up to these days.

Dan tore apart our ugly hall bathroom during his Christmas break (thanks dear!) We didn't make any huge changes but we did get a lot of bang for our buck. And of course I failed to get a good before picture. But imagine this pink atrocity with the sink below in it. Not very pretty and the sink is too large for the space.

So far we've spent about $75 on the new (used) cabinet and mirror, hardware and paint. Not bad eh? We still need to install a new light, paint the trim and dress it all up a bit.
